Job description

Marathon TS is currently seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Lead Developer / Architect (REMOTE) to join our team supporting a Federal Customer in a Remote role. The right candidate will bring the following technical quals to the team:

Mandatory Skills
  • AWS Cloud Engineer: Advanced
  • AWS Infrastructure Engineer: Advanced
  • EKS/ECS/Docker/Container - Advanced
  • Databricks Administrator: Advanced
  • Databricks Architect: Advanced
  • Git/Devops: Advanced
  • Python: Intermediate
  • Communication Skills : Advanced


Skills and Experience:
• BS Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc) or applicable work experience
• 5+ years of strong design and software development experience including designing, programming, and documenting large-scale software systems
• Strong expertise with custom development and arch mainly on Databricks Admin, EKS-Docker/Containers , Devops & AWS Admin.
• First-hand experience working with large project teams or working with the Federal Government
• Excellent communication skills in a client facing role
• Leadership of junior staff
• Development of custom software architecture and methodology
• Understanding of application security practices and their implementations in a state-of-the-art environment

Clearance Requirement : Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position
