Note:
This position is based in the United States, offers a 100% remote work option, and is open to eligible U.S.-based candidates only.

About the role:
This role focuses on designing, building, and supporting Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions within SAP landscapes, with strong emphasis on technical development and system integration.

Core Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements (Material, Vendor, Customer, Finance) into technical MDG solutions
• Design and implement solutions in SAP Master Data Governance
• Configure:
  • Data Models & Change Requests
  • BRF+ rules
  • Workflows
  • UI (Web Dynpro, FPM, GENIL)
• Develop ABAP-based enhancements (BAdIs, user exits, reports, interfaces)
• Implement data replication (IDoc, ALE, SLT, BAPIs)
• Integrate MDG with:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP ECC
  • SAP PI/PO
  • SAP CPI
• Support data quality processes (matching, merging, consolidation)
• Perform testing, debugging, and production support
• Create technical documentation

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP MDG (ECC and/or S/4HANA)
• Advanced ABAP development (OO ABAP, BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs)
• Expertise in:
  • BRF+ (Business Rule Framework)
  • MDG UI technologies (Web Dynpro, FPM, GENIL)
  • Data replication & integration
• Understanding of S/4HANA data models (CDS Views, OData)
• Workflow configuration and debugging
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning ability

Experience Expectations

• Minimum: 4+ years SAP MDG + ABAP
• Senior consultant required with 10+ years
• Must have end-to-end implementation experience (design → deploy → support)

What This Role Really Requires:

This isn't just configuration—it's a deep technical MDG role. You'll need to:

• Build custom logic (not just configure)
• Understand how master data flows across systems
• Work heavily with integration and data governance
• Debug complex workflows and replication issues
