Russell Tobin/Pride Global is currently seeking a City Launcher to work for one of our top global tech clients! The City Launcher owns onsite workforce quality and customer experience within a defined Chicago region. This role blends recruiting, training, and hands-on field operations. You will hire and onboard onsite support specialists, coach performance in real time, and support local launch and market activities such as restaurant visits and test orders.

Pay: $28-$30/hr. depending on experience

Schedule: Part-time hours - 9am to 2pm M-F

Location: Austin, TX must be within 30 miles to commute from business to business

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard onsite support specialists
  • Train and coach new and existing team members in the field
  • Conduct live performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • Support local operations including restaurant visits and test orders
  • Ensure consistent coverage, quality, and readiness across all shifts
  • Act as the local operations representative for your hub

  • Strong customer experience and consistent operational quality
  • Reliable, high-performing onsite support specialist bench
  • Fast and effective onboarding of new hires
  • Clear visibility into performance and coverage gaps
  • Well-run, organized local operations

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years in operations, recruiting, field management, or training
  • Strong judgment in assessing talent and performance
  • Comfortable coaching and giving direct feedback in person
  • Highly organized and self-directed
  • Willing to work regularly in the field
  • Nice to have experience in marketplace, gig workforce, or hospitality operations
  • Experience launching or scaling new markets preferred
