Power Platform Developer
Location: Remote (McLean, VA, United States)
Duration: 6-9 months
Hours: 30-40 hours per week

Job Description:
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The individual will work closely with clients to improve business processes and deliver efficient and scalable solutions. This is a remote opportunity, lasting 6-9 months, with significant autonomy and collaboration to achieve impactful outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation, experience in Microsoft Power Platform tools, and a deep understanding of business process optimization. They will thrive in an environment that prioritizes problem-solving and providing exceptional client support.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Design and develop applications, workflows, and solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Configure and customize Power Platform solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI to provide actionable business insights.
  • Optimize workflows and processes, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Provide training to clients and internal teams on Power Platform solutions and best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional requirements, system configurations, and process workflows.
  • Support project managers by communicating status updates, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of project components.
  • Research and propose cutting-edge solutions to improve efficiency and scalability for clients.
  • Offer remote support to resolve critical issues as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of work experience in a professional services firm or 3+ years of experience in private industry.
  • Demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Strong ability to gather and document functional requirements and design technical solutions.
  • Experience in training, support, or consulting roles.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in NGE (Non-profit, Government, and Education), Healthcare, or Tribal Government industries.
  • Familiarity with related compliance or professional standards.
Desired Skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power Apps (canvas and model-driven applications).
  • Advanced knowledge of Power Automate for creating workflows and automations.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for developing data models, reports, and dashboards.
  • Ability to analyze and gather requirements effectively.
  • Skilled in system configuration and integration techniques.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
