Business Consultant / Project Manager – Change Management (Pharma Operations)

Project Overview:
Join a critical transformation initiative within the pharmaceutical industry focused on overhauling the operating model that supports meeting and planning operations. This project centers on optimizing service delivery through new technologies, improved process design, and updated organizational structures—ensuring scalable and efficient support across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating Model Development & Leadership:
    • Lead the review and evaluation of innovative business models.
    • Redefine the future operating model, incorporating emerging technologies, refined service catalogs, and strategically aligned support teams.
  • Service Line & Workstream Oversight:
    • Design and oversee multiple service lines to ensure organizational alignment and streamlined operations.
    • Coordinate across a broad set of stakeholders, including business units, digital teams, compliance, legal, audit, and finance.
  • Change Management & Communication:
    • Develop and implement communication strategies and change management materials to guide teams through transition.
    • Ensure engagement and readiness across affected departments.
  • Policy, Metrics & Performance Monitoring:
    • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor stakeholder satisfaction, adoption, and operational improvements.
    • Facilitate the review and update of existing policies and SOPs as necessitated by operational changes.
  • Project Budget & Efficiency Tracking:
    • Manage the transition budget and track measurable outcomes, including cost savings and process efficiencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in business consulting, change management, or project management within pharmaceutical or healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operating model redesign, process optimization, and large-scale transformation.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on metric-driven transformation and continuous improvement.
Preferred:
  • PMP, Prosci, or other project/change management certifications.
  • Experience in pharma meeting planning, vendor oversight, or service delivery operations.
  • Familiarity with digital collaboration tools, process modeling, and pharma compliance requirements.
