Application Performance Engineering (APM)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Long Term with market rates
Skillset:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with 10+ years of experience in Application Performance Engineering (APM) and Site Reliability Management (SRE).
Experience with monitoring production environment for Performance, Availability and holistic view of system health.
Experience with software configuration management and release engineering.
Hands on experience with performance and monitoring tools like LoadRunner, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Catchpoint etc.
Experience in Performance Engineering, System Admin with system configuration, optimizing connection pool and performance of environment.
Proactive approach to troubleshooting, identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Ability to program (structured and OOP) using one or more languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript.
Experience with working on applications based On Premises and Cloud (Azure).
Responsibilities:
Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, instrumentation and other non-functional systems requirements.
Gather and analyze performance metrics from production systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
Partner with development teams to troubleshoot issues and defect fixes.
Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives.
