Job Title: Store Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate will manage staff, maintain inventory levels, implement store policies, and ensure the store operates efficiently and profitably.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.

  • Lead, motivate, and train store staff to deliver excellent customer service.

  • Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations.

  • Ensure effective product merchandising, display standards, and store cleanliness.

  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and coordinate replenishment.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.

  • Drive sales performance and implement strategies to meet revenue targets.

  • Analyze sales reports and KPIs to improve store performance.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and compliance guidelines.

  • Manage cash handling, billing, and daily sales reconciliation.

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams as needed.

  • Conduct regular audits of inventory, store assets, and operational processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).

  • 3–8 years of experience in retail operations, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and improving store performance.

  • Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and retail operations.

  • Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing large-format stores or high-volume retail outlets.

  • Experience in industries such as apparel, FMCG, electronics, supermarket, or specialty retail.

  • Certification in retail operations or store management is a plus.
