Job Description:

We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant.

As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, preparing accurate financial records, and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with local accounting standards.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, and ensure timely settlements.

• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.

• Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Oversee payroll and related statutory obligations.

• Oversee and execute payments for e-commerce transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.

• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

• Provide ad hoc financial support to management when required. 
  

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in Cyprus.

• Strong knowledge of Cypriot tax and VAT legislation.

• Experience in e-commerce payments or online transaction processing

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Navision, QuickBooks, Xero)

• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Google Docs

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills in English (Greek will be considered an advantage).
