Strategic Projects Analyst: Overview

The corporate development team focuses its efforts on building meaningful partnerships with physicians, hospitals, and health systems. Embedded within Business Development, the ‘Special Projects’ team is looking for an Analyst to be a key player in identifying, analyzing, and driving strategic growth opportunities.

Reporting into the Director of Strategy and Special Projects, you will utilize a blend of analytics, strategic thinking, project management, and communication skills to partner with our Growth VPs to expand their markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analytics & Market Research: Perform robust analytics to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives, including analyzing market trends and forecasting new growth opportunities.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and improve the effectiveness of targeting efforts (including leveraging Salesforce to drive efficiencies and enhance tracking).
  • Executive Communication: Prepare clear and concise materials for internal and external meetings, including pitch decks, talking points, executive strategy sessions, and interdepartmental communications.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ongoing business development activities.
  • Ad Hoc Special Projects: Independently and cross-functionally identify new growth opportunities and creatively address challenges as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales analytics, financial analysis, strategy, or a related role. (Experience with a healthcare provider is preferred).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with a high attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to present complex information clearly and concisely, including experience creating presentation materials.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with Salesforce and business intelligence tools is a strong plus.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Must be comfortable driving forward significant amounts of independent work, while also effectively partnering and communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from fellow analysts to Vice Presidents.

The Salary Range for the role is $57,784.00 - $85,000.00 per year.

 

 

 

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt: New York City and Long Island: $66,300.00/year, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $66,300.00/year, Remainder of New York state: $62,353.20/year New York Non-exempt: New York City and Long Island: $17.00/hour, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $17.00/hour, Remainder of New York state: $16.00/hour

Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
