Email and Social Media Marketing Specialist
"Building financial foundations for families to empower them today and leave a legacy for tomorrow".
Experior Financial Group Inc. is looking for a skilled Email and Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our growing Marketing team as we pursue ambitious 10x growth. We’re looking for someone who wants to own a channel, not just execute tasks. Reporting to the Email & Social Media Manager, you'll be our in-house email expert owning campaigns from first draft to final send. You bring genuine email writing chops: you know how to craft a message that informs, connects, and moves people to act. You’re also comfortable managing a social calendar and engaging an audience online. Strong writing, a sharp eye for what resonates, and a proactive mindset are essential.
As a member of our team, you will enjoy a positive work environment and be part of a dynamic group that values dedication and enthusiasm. We offer excellent opportunities for career advancement to those who are committed and strive for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Email Campaigns & Newsletters: Write, edit, and send email campaigns and newsletters that inform, engage, and drive action across our agent network — bringing a clear message, strong structure, and a compelling call to action to every send.
- Social Media: Plan, schedule, and publish social media content; monitor engagement, respond to or escalate inquiries as appropriate, and track performance metrics to keep our social presence active and on-brand.
- Performance & Reporting: Analyze email and social media performance data; compile campaign results and translate them into clear insights that inform future content and improve engagement.
- Content Calendar: Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a content calendar, coordinate campaign timelines, and ensure assets, approvals, and deliverables stay organized and on schedule.
- Quality & Brand Compliance: Review all content and creative assets — including AI-assisted outputs — for accuracy, quality, tone, and brand compliance before distribution.
- Team Support: Support event-related promotions (webinars, conferences, and internal initiatives), help maintain marketing documentation and workflows, and pitch in on other initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
- 1–3 years of experience in email marketing with some exposure to social media marketing: demonstrated writing ability and hands-on experience drafting and sending campaigns.
- Strong email copywriting skills with a solid grasp of what makes a subject line, body copy, and call to action effective — and an intuitive sense of how to adapt tone for different audiences.
- Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong proofreading and quality assurance capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and familiarity with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot); basic HTML knowledge is an asset.
- Familiarity with basic marketing analytics and reporting.
- Must reside and be authorized to work in Canada.
