Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and business-savvy General Commercial Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and commercial advisory work, with the ability to support a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Experience within the confectionery, FMCG, food manufacturing or consumer goods industry will be considered a significant advantage.

This role requires a proactive legal professional who can partner closely with internal stakeholders, manage risk effectively, and provide clear, practical legal solutions to support business growth.


Responsibilities :

  • Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial agreements (supply, distribution, service, manufacturing, licensing, etc.).

  • Advise on compliance with consumer law, product labeling regulations, food safety standards, and advertising laws.

  • Support the business in regulatory matters related to the confectionery/FMCG industry.

  • Provide legal risk assessments on day-to-day operations and strategic decisions.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual obligations are met.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, procurement, and operations.

  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes that may impact commercial operations.



  • Requirements

  • Law degree and qualified to practice law in your jurisdiction.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience practicing general commercial law, ideally in-house or with clients in the FMCG or confectionery space.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex commercial contracts and advise on compliance matters.

  • Solid understanding of consumer protection laws and food/product regulations is a bonus.

  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

  • Experience working independently in remote legal environments.

  • Proactive, commercially savvy, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders.
