Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage an assigned portfolio of industrial customers, driving sales growth and building long-term relationships
  • Provide product application support and troubleshooting for hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems, including initial design support and subassembly/kitted solutions
  • Promote and coordinate value-added services such as inventory programs and hydraulic repair, coordinating with engineering and service teams
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, manage quotes and orders, and travel as required

SunSource Mobile Technology Services is a leading distribution company within fluid power and motion control products and engineering services. We are a complete technical resource, providing services such as initial design support, subassembly and kitted products, inventory programs, and hydraulic repair.  We serve many Industrial and OEM equipment manufacturers and the various plants, mills, mines, and factories that power the global economy. 
 


Experience, Education and Skills
  • Two- or 4-year Technical Diploma with preference given to engineering or fluid power programs, OR equivalent training and experience
  • Fluid Power certification is a plus
  • 2+ years industrial or technical outside sales experience
  • Experience with value-added industrial sales is preferred
  • Product application and troubleshooting experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems is preferred
  • Understanding and previous experience working with industrial customers
  • Ability to establish and maintain business relationships
  • Must have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer proficiency is required
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Overnight travel may be required
