About the Role

Agile HR Advisors is seeking a full-time seasoned, self-directed HR Specialist who thrives in a remote, fast-paced environment. This role supports multiple client organizations simultaneously and requires strong judgment, discretion, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities with minimal oversight.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating autonomously, communicates proactively, and brings a consultative mindset to delivering high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle. This is a remote role working East Coast hours. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Hiring Support - 25%

  • Coordinate candidate and hiring team interviews
  • Monitor candidate communication within client Recruitment platforms and escalate as needed.
  • Screen resumes for open requisitions using defined criteria for advancement.

HR and People Operations - 50%

  • Prepare HR documents (offer letters, termination letters, Handbooks) for Partner review
  • Monitor inboxes for employee updates; as needed, update employee records within HR systems
  • Add documents and compliance-related information to employee records as needed

Payroll & Benefits Administration - 10%

  • Monitor client inboxes for payroll- and benefits-related communications.
  • Ensure that employee salary and deduction changes are reflected in the client's HRIS / Payroll platform.
  • Update employee benefit enrollments and corresponding deductions in the client's HRIS / Payroll platform.

General Firm Support - 15%

  • Schedule client meetings on behalf of partners
  • Monitor client inboxes for communication related to billing, contracts, deliverables, timelines, etc.
  • Respond to support requests on behalf of Partners; escalate and assign to Partners as necessary.
  • Facilitate client onboarding; send contracts for signature and record billing information in the billing platform.

Qualifications

  • 3- 6 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience communicating directly with internal clients, such as employees and managers.
  • Prior experience making updates to employee Payroll and HR records.
  • Experience using common Recruiting, HRIS, and Payroll platforms, such as Greenhouse, JazzHR, Paylocity, Paychex, Rippling, and Employee Navigator.
  • Familiarity with using MS Excel, Google Docs and Sheets, and MS Teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate electronically using Slack, Teams, or other platforms.
  • Comfort managing multiple competing priorities or clients simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be US-based with a valid work authorization.
