Financial Analyst

As a financial analyst, you’ll partner with business teams to deliver objective, fact-based insights—helping leaders understand what’s driving performance and what different choices could mean. You’ll support reporting, analysis, and core finance work to improve visibility, strengthen decisions, and fuel new initiatives—while continuously sharpening your toolkit in finance methodologies and data analytics to deliver faster, smarter reporting.

In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

As a financial analyst you will…

• Provide insights and business intelligence to stakeholders, within and outside of Finance, through high quality and fact-based financial and operational analyses

• Learn and embrace new analytics methodologies, approach, and data management;

• Collaborate with other team members to build basic business cases and obtain appropriate approval by the Senior Leadership Team

• Bring business meaning to data by pulling information from various data sources, aggregating and synthesizing data using queries, Excel and other BI tools, and communicating the results in an effective and efficient manner

• Assist in the creation of new reporting that business can run on their own while helping to maintain data integrity and accuracy of those distributed reports

• Ensure that business stakeholders have access to timely, relevant, and accurate financial and operational reporting

What we’re looking for:

• 1-2 years of experience within a finance or analytics role

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, accounting, finance, economics, engineering, computer science, math, and/or related field

• Prior business experience and proven experience with Excel, financial analysis, and data analysis

• Intermediate to Advanced SQL and/or basic coding

• Experience working with Power Query

Annualized Compensation Range

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00

This role is overtime eligible.

Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
