Job description
What is Jedox?
Jedox is a global leader in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and a recognized Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader, helping organizations transform fragmented planning into connected, data-driven decision-making.
Trusted by more than 2,500 customers worldwide, Jedox enables business planning, budgeting and forecasting for finance, sales, and broader enterprise departments with leading-edge technology to outperform digital transformation and provide tangible customer value.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Solution Advisory Consultant (m/f/d), you support new and existing customers by delivering high‑quality, value‑driven advisory throughout the sales cycle. You engage directly with finance and business stakeholders, translating complex challenges—across financial reporting, close, and planning—into compelling, outcome‑oriented solution narratives. You play a critical role in winning opportunities through impactful demonstrations, proofs of value, and expert presales support. You work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Partners to continuously improve sales effectiveness, accelerate deal cycles, and enhance customer outcomes.
Present and position Jedox solutions: Deliver engaging online and onsite demonstrations at customer meetings, executive sessions, trade fairs, conferences, and webinars—clearly linking product capabilities to FP&A use cases such as planning, forecasting, reporting, and close.
Understand customer challenges and quantify value: Engage with CFOs, Heads of Controlling, and finance teams to identify key pain points across financial reporting, consolidation, and planning processes. Translate these into clear business value, articulating measurable outcomes and impact.
Design and deliver Proofs of Concept (POC) and Proofs of Value (POV): Create high-impact POCs/POVs that reflect real customer scenarios, demonstrating tangible business benefits and aligning with FP&A best practices to support winning complex deals.
Support RFI/RFP/RFQ processes: Contribute solution expertise to high-quality responses, ensuring strong alignment between customer requirements, business value, and Jedox capabilities.
Enable sales teams and partners: Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Partner teams, supporting pipeline generation, deal strategy, and qualification—especially in complex, finance-led transformation opportunities.
Drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement: Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Delivery, Product Management, and Partner teams to share best practices, refine messaging, and continuously improve win rates, sales cycles, and customer satisfaction.
Your Profile
5–7 years of experience in a Sales Engineering or Pre‑Sales role, ideally combined with strong financial and management expertise.
Proven experience as an FP&A practitioner with hands‑on exposure to financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
Solid understanding of Financial Reporting, Month‑End Close processes, and Enterprise Planning (budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning).
Experience engaging with senior finance stakeholders, including Heads of Controlling, Finance Directors, and C‑level executives (especially CFOs).
University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
Advanced MS Excel skills, applied confidently for analysis, modelling, and decision support.
Experience with multidimensional databases (e.g., Jedox, OLAP, TM1, Infor, Essbase) and/or enterprise EPM / planning solutions (e.g., Jedox, Board, Anaplan, SAP Analytics Cloud) is highly desirable.
Strong interest in working with new customers, industries, and complex business challenges, bringing a strategic and value‑driven perspective to each engagement.
Structured, organized, and detail‑oriented working style, ensuring quality and consistency across presales activities.
