Job description

Are you passionate about helping individuals achieve better mental health and wellness? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatrist to join our supportive and collaborative team in a flexible part-time role.

This opportunity includes working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing comprehensive psychiatric care across all stages of life in a welcoming outpatient setting.

Position Overview

Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

✔️ Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
✔️ Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related disorders, and more
✔️ Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy recommendations
✔️ Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, schools, families, and other healthcare professionals
✔️ Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support as needed
✔️ Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and Georgia state regulations
✔️ Participate in team meetings and clinical consultations
✔️ Stay current on the latest developments in psychiatric care and treatment approaches

Qualifications

✅ MD or DO from an accredited medical school
✅ Completed residency in Psychiatry
✅ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
✅ Active Georgia medical license 
✅ DEA license for Georgia
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Passion for working with diverse patient populations across the lifespan

Preferred Experience

✔️ Experience in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settings
✔️ Familiarity with telepsychiatry platforms and electronic health records (EHR)
✔️ Bilingual candidates (especially Spanish-speaking) are encouraged to apply

Schedule

✨ Flexible Part-Time Hours (15–22 hours/week)
Afternoon/evening availability a must!
Optional weekend hours available based on patient demand
