Website Developer
We are looking for a Website Developer who is excited about responsive, efficient coding, and who wants to build beautiful websites for our RV clients. You will focus on managing a daily queue of new build work as well as handle client requests on websites currently in development. Your expertise in HTML, CSS and JS and your passion for an excellent customer experience will allow you to effectively collaborate with launch, design and QA to create an incredible final product!
Here is more of what you’ll get to do:
- Partner with design to determine feasibility for your builds
- Utilize Figma mockups to help build new websites for customers
- Use HTML and CSS as well as team-developed libraries of content to create sites
- Build and develop secondary landing pages based on existing content or mockups
- Use creative problem-solving skills to fulfill customer-specific requests for adjustments, while maintaining best practices and keeping future supportability in mind
- Use your knowledge of UX best practices to help make good decisions
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- 2-4 or more years of experience building websites, preferably on a shared platform
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JS
- Proficiency with the Bootstrap CSS library
- Proficiency with jQuery
- An understanding of what makes responsive design work, and how to build for mobile-first usability
- Understanding of current best practices for website performance and speed
- Familiarity with Figma and how to download/implement assets from a Figma mockup
- Passion for learning about new trends in web development & researching how to accomplish new effects and styles
- The desire to learn and grow from constructive criticism and feedback
- The ability to collaborate well with other teammates and coworkers despite generally working independently
- A trained eye for detail and accuracy
