Responsibilities

  • Train onsite staff on the functions of the machinery used to process HydraFiber products and train growers on process and machine adjustments to ensure proper container filling
  • Visit growers to verify HydraFiber inclusion rates and provide post-installation technical support, including operation and calibration questions
  • Act as the primary point of contact for HydraFiber Equipment questions and facilitate communication between Profile Products, Adept Ag, and the growers (including conference calls)
  • Provide reports of customer engagement within 48 hours of occurrences and support Profile Products Horticulture Equipment RD initiatives

Job description

Position Summary

This position provides technical support to grower customers using processing equipment needed to fully expand and utilize HydraFiber products. Candidate should reside near a major airport.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform various activities for customers to ensure success of HydraFiber utilization:
  • Train onsite staff on the functions of the specific machinery they’ll be using to process their HydraFiber products; 
  • Visit growers to ensure HydraFiber inclusion rates are correct/as expected; and
  • Act as point of contact for HydraFiber Equipment questions. 
  • Provide post-machine installation technical support, including answering customer questions regarding operation and calibration.
  • Train and assist growers concerning process and machine adjustment needed to ensure satisfactory container filling.
  • Assist in communication between Profile Products, Adept Ag, and the growers by performing activities including, but not limited to:
  • Participating in conference calls between Profile Products and Adept Ag to discuss customers and activities associated with equipment support
  • Participating in conference calls between Adept Ag and growers during troubleshooting activities
  • Provide reports of customer engagement to affected parties as needed within 48 hours of occurrence. Circulate and file reports in CRM
  • Support Profile Products Horticulture Equipment R&D initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as required.

  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
