Roles & Responsibilities

  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and/or continuous improvement and operations excellence, preferably in supply chain, quality, or transformation environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex international cross-functional projects on time and within scope.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet) and strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.

Requirements:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end operational excellence initiatives across the DACH QSC organization, from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery of agreed outcomes.
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and local stakeholders to secure endorsement and resource allocation for initiatives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and issues, and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement across BU Supply Chain processes (IMS, Demand Planning, O2C, Master Data, etc) and promote best-practice project management methodologies.

This is a fixed term role starting 1st of August 2026

As an Operational Excellence & Compliance Planner, you will drive and deliver cross-functional initiatives within the QSC organization, supporting transformation, and continuous improvement. You act as a key orchestrator, ensuring alignment with business objectives, effective stakeholder engagement, and the achievement of project goals within scope, time, and budget.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end operational excellence initiatives across the DACH QSC organization, from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery of agreed outcomes.
  • Support QSC teams in ensuring clarity and alignment of group priorities and activities to Haleon’s strategic goals and objectives, across markets, brands, platforms, and sites .
  • Collaborate closely with the Programs & Performance Lead and other team members to support horizontal topics and future-oriented initiatives.
  • Work closely with global, regional and local stakeholders to ensure that initiatives are endorsed for implementation and site’s resources allocated. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and effective communication. Identify, engage and manage stakeholders.
  • Effectively report, track and facilitate progress of the key initiatives and proactively manage risks and issues across groups, as well as help standardise the process as required. 
  • Drive adoption of best practices in project management, including Agile or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and decision-making sessions to ensure alignment and momentum.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in all the processes in scope of the BU Supply Chain (IMS, Demand Planning, O2C, Master Data, etc).

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and/or continuous improvement and operations excellence, preferably in supply chain, quality, or transformation environments.
  • Proven track record of full scope and on time project delivery for complex international cross-functional projects. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and proven experience in commercial/data analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities; able to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
  • Experience in working across cultural and multi-functional specificities in complex situations. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a matrix environment.
  • Fluent in English; German or other market languages are a plus.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is a plus.
