Job description

The Practice Strategy Leader drives the expansion and development of the Hospitality Practice across the country. This role is crucial in identifying growth opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence. This requires a visionary leader with deep understanding of market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics within the architecture and design industry.

Key Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Practice Development: Lead the development and expansion of the national practice, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  • Growth Strategy: Formulate and implement comprehensive growth strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, etc.
  • Client Engagement: Establish a culture of Delivery Excellence. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Partner to the Practice Delivery Leader and team to ensure performance metrics are achieved while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions and measure the success of growth initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing (in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, competitive landscape, and drive RFP process), Project Management Center of Excellence (PMO) design, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for growth initiatives.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Metrics:

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve a minimum of 5% year-over-year revenue growth.
  • Market Share: Increase market share in target segments by TBD% within the first 12 months.
  • Client Acquisition: Sufficient to achieve revenue growth target
  • Client Retention: Maintain a client retention and satisfaction rate of 90% or higher.
  • Team Performance: Ensure the team meets or exceeds quarterly performance targets (utilization, project performance, gross margin, win rate, etc.)

 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Real Estate, Planning, Interior Design, Business Administration, or Information Management from an accredited University. 15+ years relevant industry experience preferred, or equivalent in appropriate education and experience.

 

National salary range: $120,000 – $190,000 (15+ years experience). Additional compensation includes bonuses and benefits (compensation factors are based upon years of relevant experience, qualifications/licensure, education, and location.) Bonuses can include but are not limited to: Long Term Incentive Plan, Short Term Incentive Plan, Profit Sharing
