Description

The Senior Healthcare Analytics Lead is responsible for supporting analytics, reporting, and data interpretation activities for healthcare transformation, public health, and government modernization initiatives. This role supports the development of program metrics, operational reporting, performance monitoring, and analytical deliverables that inform program evaluation and decision-making.


Working closely with program leadership, evaluation teams, operational stakeholders, and analysts, the Senior Healthcare Analytics Lead helps ensure that analytical outputs align with program objectives, reporting requirements, and evaluation frameworks while translating data into meaningful, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.


This role is responsible for synthesizing and interpreting operational and performance data to support understanding of trends, program progress, outcomes, and opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate brings experience supporting healthcare analytics, program reporting, public sector initiatives, or performance measurement activities within healthcare or government environments.


This role may support Rural Health Transformation Programs (RHTP) and other state-led healthcare transformation initiatives focused on improving healthcare access, quality, delivery system performance, care coordination, and population health outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

Analytics & Reporting Support

  • Support the development and execution of analytics, reporting, and data interpretation activities for healthcare transformation and public sector initiatives. 
  • Develop and maintain program metrics, indicators, dashboards, and reporting approaches aligned with evaluation and operational objectives. 
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative program data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance outcomes. 
  • Interpret trends in operational and performance data across reporting periods to support program monitoring and continuous improvement. 
  • Support preparation of reports, scorecards, dashboards, and data visualizations used for stakeholder reporting and operational decision-making. 

Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor program metrics, milestones, and operational measures across multiple workstreams. 
  • Support performance measurement and reporting activities aligned with program objectives and contractual requirements. 
  • Assist with data validation, quality checks, and documentation of analytical methodologies and assumptions. 
  • Contribute analytical insights to program discussions, operational planning, and reporting activities. 
  • Support identification of operational improvement opportunities through data-informed analysis. 

Program Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

  • Collaborate closely with evaluation, operational, and program leadership teams to support alignment between analytics and evaluation activities. 
  • Support development of executive presentations, reporting deliverables, and stakeholder-facing materials. 
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, concise insights for technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Facilitate collaboration across operational, technical, analytical, and program teams. 

Technical & Team Support

  • Provide guidance and support to Data Analysts and other team members related to reporting processes, data interpretation, and analytical activities. 
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across reporting deliverables and analytical outputs. 
  • Support maintenance of reporting standards, data tracking processes, and analytical documentation. 
  • Stay current with analytics tools, reporting methodologies, and healthcare data best practices relevant to public sector environments. 

Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. 
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, responsiveness, and strong analytical capabilities. 
  • Promote a culture of data-informed decision-making, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. 
Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Data Analytics, Public Health, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. 
  • Master’s degree preferred in Data Analytics, Public Health, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting healthcare analytics, program reporting, performance measurement, data analysis, or operational reporting initiatives. 
  • Experience working with healthcare, public sector, Medicaid, or government-funded program data preferred. 
  • Experience supporting healthcare transformation initiatives, public health programs, or performance monitoring activities preferred. 
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, scorecards, and stakeholder reporting deliverables preferred. 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data findings effectively. 
  • Experience supporting reporting, dashboard development, performance monitoring, and operational analytics activities. 
  • Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar platforms. 
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights for technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Strong understanding of reporting processes, data validation practices, and data quality standards. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and reporting deadlines in fast-paced environments. 
  • Experience preparing reports, dashboards, presentations, and stakeholder-facing materials. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams. 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint. 

Work Schedule

Consistent, full-time work expected Monday – Friday, eight hours per day in a focused and fast-paced environment.
