Job Description

The Processing Support Consultant II plays a critical role in delivering high-quality operational and processing support across the organization. As a subject matter expert, you’ll partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate policy processing, resolve complex billing inquiries, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely processing of data in alignment with business guidelines and service standards
  • Serve as a trusted resource by preparing insightful management reports and supporting decision-making
  • Resolve billing and payment inquiries, including processing refunds and researching customer requests
  • Oversee policy services, rating, premium accounting, and operational support activities
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • Support team initiatives and special projects, while contributing to operational efficiency efforts
  • Maintain suspense accounts and ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced team members as needed

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in processing, operations, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail with solid problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

Technology requirements:

  • Allstate provides a comprehensive technology setup, including a laptop, monitors, headset, keyboard, and mouse. Employees eligible to work from home also receive a monthly connectivity reimbursement to help offset internet costs.
  • When working from home, you must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, along with appropriate desk and seating. Reliable internet is required, with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 52,800.00 - 80,475.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
