Job description

Overview:

Role Overview

Wipfli is seeking a Tier 2 Sage Intacct Client Experience Specialist to play a critical role in delivering proactive, consultative support to our Sage Intacct clients. This individual will serve as a trusted problem-solver for complex issues, help identify patterns and risks across the client base, and actively elevate the effectiveness of our support organization.
This role will eventually align to a primary Wipfli industry, preferably Construction & Real Estate (CRE). While the specialist will assist with support coverage across industries (including NGE, Healthcare, and others), they will take ownership of CRE from a Client Success perspective, serving as a key point of accountability for industry-specific insights, trends, and best practices.
The right candidate is naturally curious, highly proactive, confident in client-facing conversations, and comfortable mentoring others while navigating ambiguity.
Experience with Sage Intacct’s Construction / Real Estate (CRE) modules is a strong plus.

Technology skills, Competencies, Roles, and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate deep functional and technical expertise in Sage Intacct, including
• multi-entity, consolidation, order entry, contracts, revenue recognition, projects, and reporting.
• Lead end‑to‑end Sage Intacct implementations, translating complex business and accounting requirements into solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex production support cases,
troubleshooting advanced configuration, integrations, data issues, and performance related challenges.
• Exercise structured problem‑solving and root cause analysis, clearly documenting findings, recommendations, and resolution paths for clients and internal teams.
• Establish project governance and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery across the entire implementation lifecycle (Analyze/Design, Build/Test, Deploy, and Support).
• Work directly with US‑based clients and offshore/onshore US teams, ensuring
effective communication, expectation management, and timely delivery.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support late evening or overlapping US working hours as required for project delivery and client engagement.
• Proactively identify process improvements, risks, and optimization opportunities for clients, with a focus on long‑term platform value and scalability.
• Mentor, coach, and guide junior and mid‑level consultants, actively contributing to:
o Technical skill development
o Functional domain knowledge
o Consulting and client communication skills
• Take accountability for team growth and learning, including knowledge sharing, reviews, feedback, and best‑practice adoption.
• Support leadership by contributing to process refinement, implementation
standards, reusable assets, and lesson‑learned documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business, functional, and technical stakeholders to align objectives, timelines, and outcomes.
• Support cross‑functional deliverables such as:
o Functional & technical design documents
o Data migration and validation strategies
o Integration specifications
o Security and role design
