Job description

NetSuite Functional Consultant, Senior (NL)


Bring IT seeks a NetSuite Functional Consultant to lead financial process transformations for clients. You'll own the design and implementation of complex ERP solutions, driving adoption and business impact across global teams.


Core Responsibilities:


§ Lead business process discovery with stakeholders; document current state, identify gaps, and design future-state solutions

§ Design and configure NetSuite financial modules (GL, AP, AR, Consolidation, or Intercompany); propose alternative approaches and document functional specifications

§ Architect data migration strategies and validate cleansing/transformation rules

§ Own project governance supported by a PM: develop test plans, lead user acceptance testing (UAT), manage scope deviations, and communicate risks and timelines to stakeholders

§ Design and deliver training programs and document best practices.

§ Mentor junior team members on best practices and NetSuite capabilities

§ Support go-live and post-implementation stabilization (30-60 days)

§ Travel on-site as needed (estimate: 30% of the time)


Requirements:


Experience:

§ 5 years of NetSuite ERP experience

§ 5+ full-cycle implementations

§ Proven experience in financial process configuration (GL, AR, AP, Consolidation, or Intercompany accounting)

§ Background in enterprise software implementation, preferably in financial/accounting systems

§ Fluent in English (written and verbal)

§ Fluent in Dutch preferred for client interaction


Technical & Soft Skills:


§ Expertise in NetSuite financial module design and configuration

§ Data migration architecture and validation

§ Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills

§ Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members

§ Proven ability to work effectively with multicultural teams

§ Self-directed with proven ability to manage complex projects independently


Desired Skills & Qualifications:

§ NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant

§ Experience with SuiteSuccess implementation methodology

§ Experience with SuiteProjects, ARM, or Subscription Management configuration

§ System integration and architecture knowledge

§ CPA or bachelor degree
