High School Diploma plus a minimum of ten years experience in the electronics industry (manufacturing and quality) or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering or Applied Science) with five years experience in electronics manufacturing/quality
Strong understanding of technologies and working knowledge of specifications for Printed Boards (IPC-6011, IPC-6012, IPC-A-600, etc.)
Strong understanding of Printed Board Assemblies specifications (IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033, ANSI/ESD S-20.20, etc.)
Strong understanding of Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies specifications (IPC/WHMA-A-620, MIL-W-5088, etc.)

Responsibilities

Conduct independent audits of electronics manufacturing processes and products (PCBs, PCB assemblies, and wire harnesses) to verify conformance to applicable IPC/JEDEC/MIL standards
Travel domestically and internationally to perform audits and maintain a flexible schedule
Prepare clear audit reports, summarize findings, and provide actionable recommendations to clients
Stay current with industry standards, developments, and network with other professionals

This Electronics Auditor position is an excellent opportunity for recent retirees or consultants that have experience with Printed Boards, Printed Board Assemblies, or Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies

Our auditors enjoy traveling domestically and/or internationally, a flexible schedule (some auditors perform 1 or 2 audits a month, while others desire to audit every week), competitive compensation that includes a daily rate plus travel expenses, meeting new people and keeping in touch with technology and the latest developments, networking with other industry professionals.

Qualifications:

The ideal auditor candidate will possess most of the following criteria:

High School Diploma plus minimum of ten (10) years working experience in the electronics industry (mainly in the manufacturing field, including quality) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering or Applied Science and five (5) years working experience in the Electronics industry (mainly in the manufacturing field, including quality)
