What you’ll do
You’ll own national sales performance by leading and motivating the sales team to build winning account plans, execute in-store merchandising and training that grows brand visibility, and consistently deliver against sales targets. In the spirit of Nutreco’s EVP Own it, you’ll take accountability for forecasting and territory budgets, use data and CRM discipline to turn insights into clear action plans, and proactively remove barriers to customer success by partnering closely with operations and distribution. You’ll also stay plugged into market and competitor trends, strengthen long-standing customer relationships, and directly manage a portfolio of key accounts while developing new business opportunities that move the business forward.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a leader who takes full accountability for outcomes, follows through on commitments, and brings a hands-on, proactive mindset to solving problems. You combine proven sales leadership experience with strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills, and you’re comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. You build trust quickly with customers and internal partners, communicate clearly, and maintain a competitive, growth-oriented edge. You also bring strong planning discipline (business and sales planning, budgeting/forecasting) and solid digital/CRM fluency to keep the team focused, organized, and executing.
You’ll also need
Sales leadership & coaching: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team to consistently deliver against targets.
Strategic selling & negotiation: Strong commercial judgment with well-developed strategic sales planning and negotiation skills.
Planning, forecasting & budget management: Experience building business/sales plans, forecasting accurately, and managing territory budgets to meet objectives.
Customer relationship & key account management: Ability to build durable customer partnerships, grow existing accounts, and develop new business opportunities, ideally with previous experience in consumer-packaged goods or Pet Food Sales.
Data/CRM fluency & communication: High competency using CRM and sales analytics to drive action, paired with excellent written and verbal communication (English; French is an asset).
