Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; 2+ years banking and/or systems experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of project management (Waterfall, Agile and SCRUM) and ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience coordinating UAT, end-user systems support, and translating user needs into requirements; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Salesforce experience preferred; strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook (Office 365).

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $55,500.00 - $74,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to provide support, design and direct upgrades/enhancements to existing systems, retire/replace existing systems, and implement new systems to stay current with technological, industry, and regulatory needs/issues.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with IT and business partners and contribute to the implementation of technical solutions that align with business needs

  • Independently gather information, analyze user needs, scope and objectives, and work with project teams to establish quality project requirements for all sizes of projects, small to high-profile

  • Coordinate and perform UAT for system changes and enhancements

  • Basic monitoring of systems and databases for functionality and availability to users, moderately complex troubleshooting and responding to user inquiries

  • Create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions

  • Research, analyze, test, and implement applications, and assist with the design of applications, sometimes working in cooperation with internal departments and external vendors

  • All functions will be based on project size and/or complexity

  • Provide intermediate end user systems support, consultation, and recommendations in resolving technical problems on a rotation schedule

  • Utilize systems to generate reports and develop and produce requested reports

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Intermediate knowledge of the flow of work which includes forecasting, release planning, sprint planning and process improvement efforts

  • Intermediate knowledge of project management (Waterfall, Agile and SCRUM), including best practices

  • Ability to write user stories and acceptance criteria for system epics and features

  • Ability to create and execute user acceptance test scripts

  • Ability to deliver on multiple competing priorities with little supervision

  • Strong technical aptitude; ability to learn systems and processes quickly

  • Relationship building skills to work effectively with a variety of individuals at all levels throughout the Bank and provide excellent internal customer service

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook (Office 365) 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 2+ years banking and/or systems experience required

  • Salesforce experience preferred

The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $55,500 to $74,500 annually.
