Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Marketing, Administration or related fields; a specialized master's degree in Senior Management, Project Management, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, or Administration is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading market expansion, new business development, product registration, and regulatory affairs in highly regulated industries (pharma, animal nutrition, agro-industry).
  • Proven leadership of teams and ability to drive commercial/business development strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., FAMI-QS, GMP), product registrations (medicines, additives, animal feeds), and interaction with Colombian and international government entities; English proficiency at B2 level.

Responsibilities

  • Lead LATAM regulatory strategy and market access, evaluate new business viability, and ensure obtaining and maintaining registrations to enable product commercialization.
  • Act as the main interlocutor and negotiator with government authorities, health agencies (INVIMA, ICA, Ministries) and sector associations.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, fostering autonomy, curiosity, and collaborative work.
  • Integrate the regulatory perspective across the value chain, collaborating with commercial and marketing teams to anticipate risks and accelerate product launches while ensuring compliance with international regulations and quality management systems in manufacturing and registration processes.

Líder de Estrategia Regulatoria y Acceso a Mercados
Propósito del rol: Buscamos un/a líder estratégico que transforme el área regulatoria en un verdadero motor de crecimiento para la Iluma. Tu misión será liderar la estrategia regulatoria y el relacionamiento institucional, asegurando no solo el cumplimiento normativo ante autoridades, sino garantizando el acceso a nuevos mercados y habilitando la expansión comercial del negocio a nivel LATAM.

Responsabilidades principales:

  • Estrategia y Acceso a Mercados: Liderar la estrategia regulatoria LATAM, evaluando la viabilidad de nuevos negocios y garantizando la obtención y mantenimiento de registros para habilitar la comercialización de productos.
  • Relacionamiento Institucional: Actuar como interlocutor principal y negociador ante autoridades gubernamentales, sanitarias (INVIMA, ICA, Ministerios) y gremios del sector.
  • Liderazgo de Equipo: Dirigir, inspirar y desarrollar a un equipo de alto desempeño, fomentando la autonomía, la curiosidad y el trabajo colaborativo.
  • Visión de Negocio: Integrar la perspectiva regulatoria en toda la cadena de valor, trabajando de la mano con las áreas comerciales y de mercadeo para anticipar riesgos y acelerar lanzamientos.
  • Cumplimiento y Calidad: Asegurar el cumplimiento de normativas internacionales y sistemas de gestión de calidad en los procesos de manufactura y registro.

Perfil requerido:

  • Formación Académica: Profesional en Medicina Veterinaria, Química Farmacéutica, Biotecnología, Química, Mercadeo, Administración o áreas afines. Valorable contar con especialización o maestría en Alta Gerencia, Gestión de Proyectos, Asuntos Regulatorios, Mercadeo o Administración.
  • Experiencia: Mínimo 5 años de experiencia liderando áreas expansión de mercados, apertura de nuevos negocios, registro de nuevos productos, y asuntos regulatorios en industrias altamente reguladas (Farma, Nutrición Animal, Agroindustria).
  • Liderazgo: Experiencia comprobada gestionando equipos y liderando estrategias con visión comercial/desarrollo de negocios.
  • Conocimientos Técnicos: Fuerte dominio de normativas (FAMI-QS, BPM), registro de productos (medicamentos, aditivos, alimentos balanceados) e interacción con entidades gubernamentales colombianas e internacionales.
  • Idiomas: Nivel de inglés B2.
