  • Take end-to-end ownership of the delivery of key technical projects.
  • Act as a catalyst for technical excellence, setting the benchmark for high-quality code, building resilient and observable services, and championing the creation of comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

  • Has 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, 2+ of those years being in a senior role.
  • Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design, build, and ship solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Knows how to get the most out of AI-powered development techniques, and is excited to stay on the bleeding edge as the technology continues to develop.
  • Brings empathy to the table, can communicate effectively within and outside the engineering organization, and cares about what patients and other users experience.
  • Is passionate about solving problems involving complex systems related to the delivery of high quality healthcare.

Our stack:

  • Languages and frameworks: Python (FastAPI, Uvicorn, Pydantic), Javascript, Typescript, sometimes Go
  • Databases: MySQL, Redis, BigQuery
  • How we ship: Terraform, Helm on Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, GCP Pub/Sub.
