As the Director of Fraud Prevention, you'll be responsible for the design and implementation of fraud prevention strategy for the enterprise. You'll develop business engines for fraud estimation, identify risk and recommend verification standards addressing concerns. The Director of Fraud Prevention is recognized as a subject matter expert in fraud prevention and identity risk, staying informed of industry trends and best practices.
About the role
Design fraud prevention decisioning engines for all loan products which estimate fraud and identity risk for loan applications
Recommend verification standards which address risk concerns discovered in loan applications
Leverage data analytics and machine learning to aggregate 3rd party and in-house data to assess fraud and identity risk while maintaining a seamless client experience
Lead fraud prevention analysts in evaluating risk concerns found in loan applications, using data to enhance fraud prevention decisioning engines and verification standards
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare periodic reports to review performance and effectiveness of fraud prevention and identity risk with senior leadership
Communicate and embody the company’s vision of leveraging technology to automate fraud prevention and identity risk assessment and clearance as much as possible, while striving for a simple, frictionless customer experience
Identify, implement, and drive adoption of best practices within the leadership community
Lead and mentor the fraud prevention team and develop good thinkers and strategists with a mindset for automation and frameworks
About you
Minimum Qualifications
8 years of experience in fraud investigation
2 years of leadership experience
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Expertise in fraud prevention & identity risk
Experience developing and implementing initiatives that impact the organization
Experience mentoring and training team members

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is $66,500.00-$140,000.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
