Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Job Summary

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will work with clients who are trying to make sense of relationship stress, family conflict, emotional overwhelm, communication breakdowns, and major life changes. Through secure telehealth sessions, you will provide therapy that helps individuals, couples, and families better understand their patterns and build healthier ways to move forward.

This role involves a mix of direct client sessions, intake assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, and clinical documentation. You will bring a family-systems perspective to care while also supporting each client’s individual mental health needs.

Position Details

Location: Hollywood, FL
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families
  • Complete intake assessments and gather relevant family, relationship, and mental health history
  • Create treatment plans based on client needs, goals, and presenting concerns
  • Support clients with relationship strain, communication issues, anxiety, stress, grief, and life transitions
  • Use appropriate therapy approaches for individual and relational concerns
  • Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
  • Follow HIPAA standards and professional telehealth guidelines
  • Refer clients to additional care or community resources when clinically appropriate

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Active Florida LMFT license required
  • License must be current, unrestricted, and in good standing
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage a remote caseload independently
  • Reliable internet connection and private workspace for virtual sessions
