Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Job Summary

This remote LMFT position focuses on providing therapy for individuals, couples, and families through secure video sessions. You will assess client concerns, create treatment plans, provide ongoing counseling, and document care in an electronic health record system.

The role is a strong fit for a licensed therapist who understands relationship dynamics, family systems, and the emotional stressors that can affect daily life. You will help clients work through conflict, anxiety, grief, communication issues, and life transitions with clear and professional clinical support.

Position Details

Location: Clearwater, FL
Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide virtual counseling for individuals, couples, and families
  • Complete clinical assessments and intake documentation
  • Explore family systems, relationship patterns, and client concerns
  • Develop treatment goals that are realistic and clinically appropriate
  • Provide therapy for communication issues, anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and adjustment challenges
  • Update treatment plans as client needs change
  • Complete progress notes in an electronic health record system
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical care standards
  • Identify when clients may need outside resources or additional care

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
  • Active Florida LMFT license required
  • License must be current, unrestricted, and in good standing
  • Experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
  • Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
  • Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage a remote caseload independently
  • Reliable internet connection and private workspace for virtual sessions
