Key Responsibilities

Provide a warm welcome on reception and help create an environment where participants are supported to achieve their potential and make a positive contribution to the local community.

Act as the first point of contact for participants, colleagues, visitors, and external agencies, building and maintaining strong working relationships with key partners and stakeholders.Input participant contact and attendance details onto the computerised record system in accordance with requirements.

Retain petty cash and reimburse participants in line with financial procedures.

Process incoming, outgoing, and internal mail, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders through the production of high-quality correspondence.

Ensure volunteering roles are promoted nationally and in line with equality, diversity, and inclusion policy.Support the onboarding of volunteers, from managing online applications to ordering equipment.

Process and record all volunteer expenses.Support the Volunteer Mentor Unit to gather evidence of volunteer impact.Maintain SharePoint and take responsibility for document control.Support the preparation of reports and presentations.

Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for HR queries.

Attend team meetings and produce clear, accurate minutes as required.Support the planning and delivery of volunteer events, ensuring all arrangements are in place and communicated.

Adhere to company policies and contractual requirements, including health and safety, information security, equality, and inclusion, and handle personal data in accordance with data protection policy.

Take responsibility for own professional development and undertake necessary training as identified through the performance review process.

Undertake any other duties, as required, appropriate to the post.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Experience
- Level 2 qualification in Business Administration, Customer Service, or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience of engaging individuals who have experienced disadvantage and/or have complex needs
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, databases, and office equipment
