We’re leading the way in EdTech, providing game-changing education to those who want to build new digital skills and prepare for the future.



Your role

You’ll be joining our mentor team, which means working closely with both teammates and students—either work on campus at our fantastic city-center office, or remotely from the comfort of your home.


Your primary responsibility will be to support our ongoing courses by mentoring and coaching students throughout their learning journey. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and delivery of future educational products by acting as a domain expert, designing engaging projects, and assisting others in doing the same.


Your tasks

👉Guiding and supporting learning initiatives across a wide range of software development topics. We’re especially excited about folks who bring a couple of years of hands-on experience and have developed deeper skills in at least one area—whether that’s building secure systems, working with data, designing applications, or solving complex backend challenges.

👉Mentoring – not preaching. Help students learn via interactive workshops and be available to support and guide them while they are solving practical challenges in project-based tasks. They will learn concepts and theory via self-study.

👉Learning and following the tried-and-tested Codecool mastery-based learning model, demand-based curriculum, and growth mindset approach. We have successfully working models and processes for you at hand; however, your ideas are welcome, we believe in continuous improvement.



Our ideal candidate

✔️has a total of 20 hours/week to support our courses

  • The timing of the courses varies: weekdays, weekday nights, or weekends
  • course dates can be planned in advance, you don't have to work ad hoc

⚡️has at least 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity

✔️speaks fluent Hungarian and advanced English

✔️believes in practice-oriented, project-based learning

✔️understands the difference between teaching and mentoring

✔️is positive and patient

✔️loves to learn and grow

✔️can be new to mentoring: no previous teaching experience is required
