Job description

The Information Assurance Services (IAS) Manager helps to lead client delivery relationships across various practice areas including SOC 1, SOC 2, and HIPAA engagement and to work in tandem with other Service Line Managers for joint engagements of SOC and another audit framework. This individual would ensure high quality delivery for client engagements; manage client relationships; manage client staffing and delivery; help to grow the IAS practice; and assist in recruiting and hiring. This individual would be helping to lead and develop talent to continue to support the IAS practice’s rapid growth of over 30% per annum. Strong project management skills are a must.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Leveraging industry and technical expertise to assist management effectively identify risks and controls associated with Aprio’s clients’ businesses
  • Managing the audit engagement, including all phases of client delivery such as planning, delivery, staffing, relationships, quality, staff development, issue management, reporting, etc.
  • Coaching and staff development
  • Assisting with business development
  • Performing a variety of services for clients and working with others on joint engagements, including but not limited to: SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR Consulting, PCI-DSS, and ISO Certifications (27001, 27701, etc.)
  • Leading internal initiatives as necessary

  • Qualifications:
  • Amenable to work Mid-shift (3:00 PM – 12:00 MN PHT)
  • Work Set-up: Remote
  • A relevant certification (CPA, CISA, CRISC, CIPP, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
  • 5+ years of IT Audit experience, which includes a minimum of 1 year of experience in managing SOC Audits or similar audit engagements
  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written, with the ability to produce excellent written reports and audit documentation
  • Propensity to learn and self-develop
  • Commitment to exceptional client service and creative problem-solving ability with a consultancy mindset
  • Flexible, self-starter with the ability to interact with various levels of a client and firm management
  • Ability to lead engagement teams, review work papers and testing, and manage client relationships
  • Ability to train and develop intern, associate, and senior associate team members
  • Ability and desire to assist with sales and the growth of the practice
  • Ability to project manage including managing multiple delivery teams and clients at the same time
