They are looking for a highly driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in South Africa who understands the fast-paced nature of agency sales and can confidently engage with business owners, marketing leaders, and eCommerce brands.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SDR with a strong background in outbound sales within a marketing agency or eCommerce environment. This is a high-performance sales role focused on lead generation, outbound prospecting, appointment setting, and pipeline development.

This is a hard requirement role — candidates must have prior sales experience working in a marketing agency or eCommerce-related business environment.

The ideal candidate is commercially driven, confident in client-facing conversations, and experienced using outbound channels such as cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, and CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales representative.
  • Mandatory: Previous sales experience within a marketing agency or eCommerce environment.
  • Strong outbound prospecting and lead generation experience.
  • Confident cold caller with excellent objection-handling skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong time management abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Stable internet connection and suitable remote work setup.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling digital marketing services, paid media, SEO, or growth solutions.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon ecosystems.
  • Experience working with international clients, particularly UK or US markets.
