Job description

Job Overview & Responsibilities:

The purpose of the Regional Referral Coordinator is to positively affect the practice referral management process by documenting, contacting and scheduling referrals. The employee will use the provided tools and training to effectively track referrals from the source and follow them through to positive conversion as patients. The employee will execute the highest level of customer service to welcome patients into the practice and back into the clinics. Additionally, the role will provide tools and analysis to improve the practice referral conversion (capture rate). This position requires simple computer data entry and use of computer-based systems and will work under the direction of the Front Office Manager and with other senior leaders to achieve goals and objectives under all pillars of the organization.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

· Perform ad-hoc operational analytic report requests from senior management

· Create, manage, and evaluate methods involving data integrity; conduct regular audits and validations in concert with other departments/ teams.

· Call and schedule new referrals sent to PT Solutions

· Positive and high level of customer service to create memorable experiences for each patient

· Retrieve unassigned referrals within referral systems, assign them to appropriate clinics, call, and schedule patient

· Create and upload completed intake forms for new patients

· Register new patients in EMR system

· Add new patients to schedule

· Update Leading Reach for all new referrals that are obtained

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Pay Range:

REQUIREMENTS AND CREDENTIALS

  • Keyboarding skills, with ability to type 45 words per minute preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, oral (includes telephone skills) and written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to delegate tasks efficiently among team members and communicate the needs of the company and affiliates
  • Associate’s degree or two years of management experience. Two years of experience in medical front office services
  • Demonstrated competency in computer related skills as noted above

Compensation

 

Pay Range: $17-19/hr (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
