Your role in our team

 

As our new Associate Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting and ensuring accurate payroll processes for Danish employees. You will work with payroll-related administration, reporting, and data handling while helping to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, tax regulations, and collective agreements. In this role, you will support the monthly payroll process, maintain employee data, handle payroll-related inquiries, and work with payroll systems and administrative tasks.

 

You will become part of a payroll team consisting of four colleagues, primarily based in Denmark, with one colleague located in Brasov. The team works closely together in a collaborative and supportive environment, where knowledge sharing and helping each other are a natural part of everyday work.

 

How you will make a meaningful contribution

 

Your key responsibilities include:

 

    • Ensure accurate registration and processing of payroll-related data, including vacation, absence, pension, and supplements
    • Maintain and update employee data in payroll and HR systems
    • Respond to payroll-related questions from employees and managers
    • Perform controls and reconciliations to ensure accurate and high-quality payroll processing
    • Contribute to payroll reporting and administrative tasks
    • Stay updated and continuously build knowledge within payroll, collective agreements, and relevant regulations

You are fluent in Danish and English both in writing and verbal at a professional level. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

 

    • You hold a relevant education within accounting, finance Human Resources or a related field.
    • Interest in payroll, collective agreements, and administrative processes
    • Strong system understanding and interest in working with different systems
    • Good Excel skills and a flair for data and reporting
    • Experience with payroll processing is an advantage, but not a requirement
