Job Role: Loan Processor

Compensation range: $1,200 AUD - $2,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Formed from a merger combining 10 years of industry experience, we focus on clients who face challenges with traditional financing, simplifying the borrowing process and expediting funding. Our team provides tailored solutions ranging from business working capital to property financing, guided by a client-first approach, flexible underwriting, and a commitment to helping borrowers grow and succeed.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Processor to manage and oversee loan applications from initiation through to settlement. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all loan files are accurate, complete, and compliant with lender requirements. This role requires strong MyCRM knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Important Note: This role can be full-time or part-time (compensation is pro-rated based on the days and hours worked)

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the end-to-end loan application process, ensuring accuracy and timely progression
  • Use MyCRM, Apply Online (AOL) and Simplology systems to process applications efficiently
  • Maintain organized loan files, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date
  • Liaise with lenders, clients, and internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth processing
  • Monitor loan progress and provide regular updates to relevant parties
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, lender requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Order valuations and Pricing.
  • Assist with Discharges and Loan documents.
  • Understand how lender calculators work

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with MyCRM and other loan processing platforms
  • Recently worked for a brokerage firm
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end loan application and settlement process especially in the Australian market
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Previous experience in mortgage, lending, or financial services is preferred
  • Experience as a Parabroker is highly desirable

Desirable Attributes:

  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Comfortable liaising with external lenders and internal teams
  • Skilled at tracking, reporting, and problem-solving

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
