About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an Investment Banking Associate to support live M&A transactions, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements.

This is a high-performance finance role built for someone who thrives in fast-paced transaction environments and can balance analytical rigor with flawless execution.

You’ll work closely with senior bankers, analysts, clients, legal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure transactions move forward accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Own

Financial Modeling & Valuation

  • Build and maintain advanced financial models, including:
    • DCF models
    • LBO models
    • M&A merger models
    • Operating models
  • Perform:
    • Comparable company analysis
    • Precedent transaction analysis
    • Sensitivity and scenario analysis
  • Stress-test assumptions and validate outputs for transaction readiness
  • Analyze financial statements, forecasts, and transaction structures

Deal Execution & Transaction Support

  • Support live M&A and capital raising transactions end-to-end
  • Manage:
    • Due diligence checklists
    • Data room organization
    • Document requests
    • Transaction timelines
  • Coordinate with:
    • Clients
    • Lawyers
    • Accountants
    • Consultants
    • Internal deal teams
  • Ensure all deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on time

Pitch Books & Client Materials

  • Prepare:
    • Pitch books
    • Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs)
    • Investor presentations
    • Teasers
    • Management presentations
  • Build client-ready reports and transaction materials with exceptional attention to detail
  • Support senior bankers in preparing for:
    • Client meetings
    • Investor calls
    • Internal deal discussions

Market Research & Strategic Analysis

  • Conduct industry and market research across sectors such as:
    • Technology
    • Healthcare

  • Identify:
    • Market trends

  • Translate findings into actionable insights for valuation and strategic recommendations

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Review analyst work for:

  • Collaborate closely with VPs, Directors, and Managing Directors across live transactions

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure confidentiality and regulatory compliance across all transaction materials

  • Follow internal controls and governance standards throughout transaction execution
