DevOps Engineer - Contractor

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer contractor to join our team for a specific, 3-month project aimed at developing integrated drone charging stations. This is a full-time contract position, with a possibility to prolong collaboration after the project ends. 

What do we expect:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Expertise in AWS solutions with a strong focus on AWS IoT Core, Greengrass, IoT Analytics, and AWS Cognito

• Experience in working with GNU/Linux and/or Unix-like operating systems

• Proficient in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and hosting of web-based applications, including using AWS services like ALB, ECS, EKS, or Fargate

• Expertise in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), including tools like AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy

• Advanced scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, AWS CLI, CloudFormation, Terraform)

• Familiarity with AWS security best practices for IoT, including IAM policies, Cognito, IoT Device Defender, and IoT Security

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools, particularly AWS-native tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS IoT Events

• Experience with Edge Computing and IoT Device Management using AWS Greengrass

• Ability to lead projects and mentor other team members

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Fluent communication in English (written and spoken)
