About the Role
Essity is looking for an experienced National Clinical Specialist, Advanced Wound Care. This role will support the sales team by providing knowledge, training, and support to the sales team with Advanced Wound Care solutions, to ensure strategic market development, reputation and profit growth for the company.


This is a remote position. The ideal candidate will reside in Alberta or Saskatchewan

What You Will Do

  • Identify, develop & maintain relationships with key clinical opinion leaders & associations.
  • Conduct customer seminars/in-services & product trials.
  • Lead role in developing internal and external training and AWC education programs like; Venous leg ulcer (VLU), diabetic foot ulcer (DFU), post-op (Surgical), etc...
  • Responsible for setting up and managing patient trials, clinical posters and white papers on the use and outcomes for our Advanced Wound Care and products portfolio.
  • Responsible for setting up and implementing educational programs to increase awareness, optimize proper utilization, stimulate product evaluations and adoption of new technologies.
  • In-depth Essity & competitive product knowledge; features, benefits, pricing, and promotions.
  • Work with sales management to develop clinical project & sales strategies.
  • Displays or demonstrates products, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Call on current and potential KOL/users to promote Essity medical products.
  • Liaison between field and in-house departments on resolving problems

Who You Are

  • Qualified candidates should have prior Clinical Experience within wound care.
  • Registered Nurse or Nursing background in Advanced wound care practices and with compression products is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to provide support for sales teams within the region.
  • Experience in clinical training or teaching preferred.
  • Some domestic travel required throughout their respective territory
  • Excellent aptitude & attitude for teamwork
  • Ability to develop and manage priorities, projects, and clinical trials.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
