Job description

Your new team:

Are you ready to drive high-impact, confidential strategic initiatives at one of Europe’s leading fintech companies? At auxmoney, you will work at the heart of the organisation and partner directly with senior leadership to turn strategy into execution. As Senior Project Manager / Chief of Staff, you will own strategic cross-functional projects, prepare critical decisions, and ensure operational excellence across the business. This role is ideal for a structured, analytically strong professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a tangible impact beyond the slide deck.

What you can expect:

  • Drive high-stakes strategic projects: You take ownership of high-priority, cross-functional initiatives. Covering the full cycle, from scoping and stakeholder alignment to execution and impact tracking, ensuring that projects deliver results, not just plans.
  • Prepare and enable leadership decisions: You structure complex topics, build decision-ready materials, and provide data-driven recommendations that help senior leadership act with confidence and speed.
  • Ensure operational excellence: You design and continuously improve key management routines, including leadership meetings, board preparation, and strategic planning processes.
  • Connect the dots across the organisation: You work across value streams and functions, identify dependencies and blockers, and ensure alignment between teams on the topics that matter most.
  • Act as a trusted sparring partner: You challenge ideas constructively, bring an outside-in perspective, and support senior leaders in prioritising their time and attention on the highest-leverage activities.
  • Build scalable frameworks: You create templates, playbooks, and governance structures that enable the organisation to operate more effectively as it grows.

Your profile

  • Strong professional foundation: You bring approximately five years of professional experience, ideally with a background in top-tier management consulting (MBB or comparable) and strong academic accolades. You are used to working on complex, ambiguous problems and delivering under pressure.
  • Exceptional analytical and structuring skills: You can break down large, unstructured challenges into clear workstreams, hypotheses, and actionable next steps. You are comfortable with data and know how to turn it into insight.
  • Outstanding communication: You communicate clearly and persuasively in writing, in presentations, and in person. You adapt your style to different audiences, from C-level to operational teams.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset: You don’t wait for instructions. You identify what needs to happen, take initiative, and drive topics forward with energy and ownership.
  • Collaborative leadership style: You lead through influence, not hierarchy. You build trust quickly, navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, and bring people together around shared goals.
  • Financial services experience: First experience in the area of financial services, ideally with some knowledge about consumer lending, is a plus.
  • Fluent in German and English: You communicate confidently in German and English in a professional setting

What we offer:

  • Flexibility for Your Lifestyle: Enjoy family-friendly working hours and a generous home office policy. This role can be performed fully remote within Germany, allowing you to stay agile and flexible in any situation.
  • Ergonomic Work Environment: For your office days, we provide ergonomic workstations that offer you a comfortable and healthy workspace.
  • Independent Work: With short decision-making paths, we enable you to work autonomously and actively contribute your ideas – we provide space for you to take on responsibility.
  • Grow with Us: Unlock your potential with numerous opportunities for growth and development, along with an annual development budget to help you achieve your professional and personal goals.
  • Team Spirit: Team spirit is important to us – we regularly host events and parties where fun is guaranteed.
  • Mobility Your Way: Whether you prefer a train ticket or parking – we support your choice of preferred mobility.
  • Stay Active: Keep fit with a discounted membership at Fitness First or Urban Sports Club, or use our in-house fitness room to stay active after work and enhance your work-life balance.
  • Secure Your Future: Think about your future – we offer subsidies for company pension plans so you can plan long-term with us.
  • Tailored Benefits: We consider your personal life situation – whether you’re a parent or love to travel, we offer customized benefits to suit your lifestyle.
Your Perspective: As Senior Project Manager / Chief of Staff at auxmoney, you will be at the centre of strategic decision-making in one of Europe’s most innovative fintech companies. You will shape how the organisation operates, scales, and delivers on its ambitions, working side by side with senior leadership on the topics that define auxmoney’s future. If you are looking for a role where analytical rigour meets entrepreneurial impact, this is it.

For us as an employer, equal opportunities and diversity are especially important. Therefore, we welcome applications from mothers, fathers, people with disabilities and people from the LGBTQIA+ community. Please feel free to let us know if, for example, you would like us to use a gender-neutral pronoun, if you need barrier-free access to our office, or if you would like us to allow more time for the application process.
