  • Design, develop, and deliver the ERSM resilience Awareness Program, including training and communication initiatives for ERSM team members and internal stakeholders worldwide.
  • Collaborate with the Security Resilience PMO on technology design and development, and drive benchmarking with industry peers; travel up to 40% (often with short notice).

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based anywhere globally. To best support collaboration across the team’s global time zones, candidates located on the U.S. East Coast or in EMEA are strongly preferred.

TE's Enterprise Risk & Security Management (ERSM) group is comprised of region-based and enterprise professionals who partner with businesses and functions to protect TE's people, productivity, and profitability around the world. The Manager, Resilience Programs, is responsible for resilience programs across the organization through the implementation of appropriate risk-based and business-focused mitigation strategies. This role focuses on field application of resilience programs, providing direct support to Regional Security Leads on the ground, and supporting the Team Awareness program including training and communication initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Resilience
    • Support Regional Security Leads through field application of resilience programs, providing on-site expertise and hands-on implementation guidance.
    • Work to support business units and both global & regional team leaders to ensure that businesses have continuity plans in accordance with company policy, customer requirements, and standards.
    • Conduct periodic compliance and quality audits on TE's business continuity and resilience programs.
    • Collaborate with the Security & Resilience PMO on technology design & development.
  • Awareness Program – Support the ERSM Team resilience Awareness Program, including designing, development and delivery of training and communication initiatives to ERSM team members and ERSM diverse internal stakeholder groups across the globe.
  • Benchmarking – Cultivate strong relationships with industry peers and other related industry such as the Learning & Development industry around the globe.
  • Travel – 40% of the time, sometimes on short notice.

What your background should look like

  • B.S in a relevant field with a commitment to continued professional development.
  • Extensive experience (15+ years) in corporate crisis management and business continuity with a preference for time spent in the manufacturing sector.
  • Must be an expert in business applications of resilience programs.
  • Strategic orientation with ability and willingness to execute tactically, as required.
  • Develops and nurtures trust-based relationships with regional leaders and professional organizations.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with exceptional interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and active listening capabilities.
  • Must have Learning & Development best practices knowledge.
  • Must excel at presenting to others and have experience living in different countries.
  • Fluent in English, with strong understanding of complex global organizations. Additional language is a plus.
  • Experienced in driving collaboration across functions to address organizational security challenges.
  • Highly skilled in succeeding in a matrix-management environment.
