Job description

Position Summary

We are looking for an Outbound Sales Consultant to engage with warm leads who have already expressed interest in our online education programs. This role is focused on building genuine conversations, understanding each prospect’s motivations, and guiding them toward enrollment through a consultative and empathetic sales approach. This is not a cold calling role and not a highly scripted sales position. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, naturally conversational, and skilled at creating trust with prospective students.

Work setup: Work from home

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Queensland Time

Holidays: Queensland Holidays

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to warm leads who previously inquired about the company’s online education programs
  • Re-engage older or disengaged leads in the CRM and assess ongoing interest in enrollment
  • Build rapport with prospective students through natural, engaging, and empathetic conversations
  • Understand each prospect’s goals, motivations, and personal circumstances to guide the sales discussion effectively
  • Communicate program value in a consultative way that aligns with the prospect’s personal and career aspirations
  • Maintain accurate lead notes, follow-up actions, and pipeline updates in Zoho CRM
  • Use Aircall and related systems efficiently for daily call activity and follow-up
  • Meet agreed activity and performance targets, including call volume, talk time, lead engagement, and sales outcomes
  • Complete onboarding and product training to build strong program knowledge
  • Transition to handling newer leads as performance and conversation quality are proven
  • Collaborate with onshore stakeholders and internal teams to support sales growth and conversion performance

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in outbound sales, consultative sales, inside sales, or contact center-based sales
  • Excellent spoken English and a confident, natural phone presence
  • Strong active listening and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to handle unscripted conversations with empathy, confidence, and good judgment
  • Comfortable speaking with prospects who may share personal stories, career goals, or life circumstances
  • Ability to guide conversations toward a clear next step or enrollment decision
  • Experience using CRM platforms and call handling tools
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a work-from-home setup
  • Strong organization skills and discipline in documenting interactions and follow ups
  • Willingness to learn product details and apply them effectively in sales conversations

  • Exposure to wellness, health, lifestyle, or service-based industries
  • Familiarity with Zoho CRM and Aircall
