Job description

The Role at a Glance:

This role will lead the development, planning, and execution strategy of complex healthcare relocation projects—from early client engagement through delivery. This role is responsible for translating client needs into actionable relocation strategies, defining logistics and operational plans, building project scope and budgets, and ensuring execution is set up for success.

You operate at the intersection of client development, operational planning, and project delivery, serving as the bridge between opportunity and execution. This is not a traditional project management role—you are responsible for defining how the relocation will work before it begins and ensuring that strategy holds through execution.

How You’ll Contribute:

You will assist in the vetting, developing and budgeting for complex healthcare and laboratory relocation projects, overseeing all operational, administrative, and strategic activities from initial planning through final execution. You will be accountable for overall portfolio and project team success while leading and directing a cross-functional team responsible for delivery.

You will develop project scopes, proposals, budgets, and schedules, and ensure alignment across internal team members, clients, vendors, and trades. You will establish clear roles, responsibilities, and workflows, enabling your team to execute efficiently while maintaining accountability for quality, timing, and financial performance. As the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, you will guide communications, key decisions, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.

You will develop and implement standard protocols, processes, and documentation to drive operational consistency and compliance with healthcare and laboratory industry standards. In partnership with design, equipment, transition planning, and construction teams, you will structure project plans and coordinate resources, ensuring your team is equipped to execute effectively. You will oversee financial controls including invoice approvals and purchase orders, while delegating day-to-day coordination activities appropriately across the team.

You will provide oversight of project progress through established reporting rhythms, ensuring milestone completion and proactively addressing risks and constraints. You will guide your team through critical phases of execution, including final building walk-throughs and post-project follow-ups, to ensure successful outcomes and client satisfaction. Leveraging collaboration and project tools, you will ensure visibility, organization, and efficiency across all project workflows.

In this role, you will provide full oversight across multiple projects simultaneously by setting direction, prioritizing efforts, and empowering your team to deliver. You will maintain continuous communication with senior-level internal and external stakeholders, reinforce adherence to company standards, and drive operational excellence through strong leadership, decision-making, and team accountability. Frequent travel, up to 50–75%, is required.
