Roles & Responsibilities

  • 2+ years of relevant HR experience
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in a technical or startup environment
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and familiarity with HRIS/ATS systems

At this time, we are only able to hire candidates who are legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within Canada.

We’re looking for a highly motivated HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll support employees across the studio, help deliver people programs, and leverage HR systems to improve processes and efficiency. You’ll collaborate closely with the HR team, managers, and employees to help foster a fun, inclusive, and high-performing workplace.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the games industry, enjoys connecting with people, communicates effectively, and brings a positive, proactive approach to their work. You’re comfortable managing multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


HR Operations & Employee Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and provide support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding

  • Prepare and maintain HR documentation such as offer letters, employment changes, and verification letters

  • Maintain employee records, staff trackers, and HR systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date information

  • Support payroll processes by coordinating employee changes with Finance (new hires, salary updates, leaves, terminations)


  • HR Systems & Administration (BambooHR)
  • Administer BambooHR, including employee data updates, job and manager changes, and workflow management

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes within HR systems, including new hire setup and terminations

  • Generate HR reports and assist with general administrative and year-end tasks


  • Benefits Administration
  • Coordinate employee benefits enrollments, terminations, and changes

  • Support employees with benefit-related inquiries and life event updates

  • Assist with plan administration and reporting, including RRSP coordination


  • Time Off & Leave Management
  • Manage and track PTO, sick leave, and other leaves within BambooHR

  • Support employees and managers with leave requests, balances, and policy guidance

  • Administer various leave programs, including medical, parental, and other leaves of absence


  • Recruitment & Onboarding Support
  • Provide administrative support for recruitment, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication

  • Assist with onboarding activities such as orientations, documentation, and first-day setup


  • Offboarding
  • Coordinate offboarding processes, including documentation, system updates, and exit communications

  • Support exit interviews and surveys as needed


  • Additional Responsibilities
  • Monitor HR inbox and maintain HR documentation and shared drives

  • Support co-op programs and liaise with educational institutions as needed

  • Assist with internal communications, HR content updates, and employee engagement initiatives

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field

  • Bring 2+ years of relevant HR experience

  • Have some experience of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably in a technical or startup environment

  • Are growth-oriented and adaptable, comfortable navigating ambiguity and using sound judgment

  • Approach situations with curiosity and a willingness to learn

  • Have a strong understanding of provincial labour standards and HR best practices

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Are proficient with Google Workspace and familiar with HRIS and/or ATS systems

  • Can manage multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and organization

  • Have strong attention to detail and maintain accurate, well-organized records

  • Are approachable, service-oriented, and handle sensitive information with discretion
