Job description

We're recruiting ML Research Engineer (m/f) to strengthen our team in Europe, with the possibility of remote work.

What we're looking for:

PhD or MSc in a STEM field (preference for PhD in Computer Science);
4+ years of experience (minimum) combining Machine Learning research and engineering;
Proven experience taking models from experimentation to production;
Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning, post-training techniques (SFT, RLHF), and model evaluation in production environments;
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (TypeScript is a plus);
Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD;
Experience establishing engineering standards within research-oriented teams and mentoring researchers on production best practices;
Ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, balancing rapid iteration with high quality and safety standards;
Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge research and engineering teams effectively;
Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and agentic workflows;
Knowledge of cloud-native AI platforms such as GCP/Vertex AI or AWS/SageMaker;
Experience working in startup environments (valued);
Published research in ML, NLP, or related areas (valued);
Fluent English communication skills.
