Senior Backend Engineer - Financial Integratios

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Backend Engineer who is eager to grow professionally within our dynamic and highly skilled software development team. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining robust backend systems with a strong emphasis on finance-related integrations, working with third-party platforms and complex data flows.

As a senior contributor, you will lead technical initiatives, design scalable solutions, and develop integrations with financial systems using REST, SOAP, and event-driven architectures. You will also play a key role in ensuring reliability, security, and performance while leveraging modern development practices and AI-assisted tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong expertise in Python for backend development.

• Proven experience building serverless applications using AWS Lambda.

• Strong experience integrating with financial systems or finance-related platforms.

• Experience working with REST APIs, SOAP services, and event-driven integrations.

• Deep understanding of clean code principles, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT.

• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Strong English communication skills – Minimum B2 level proficiency.

• Understanding of secure coding practices and compliance requirements.

• Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience working under Agile or Scrum methodologies.
