Roles & Responsibilities

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 2 years of experience in enrollment, compliance, onboarding, account management, or a similar role (vendor or client-facing).
  • Proficiency in data validation and sorting and strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Highly organized, process-driven, detail-oriented with excellent prioritization, time management, and strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

  • Review incoming applications to ensure prospective vendor partners meet minimum requirements and perform admission-based analysis to prevent geographic oversaturation and ensure added value.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain insurance, licensing, tax, and contractual documentation; verify documents for authenticity with brokers and licensing authorities.
  • Make independent admission determinations for prospective vendor partners and coordinate with Development Managers for solicited enrollments.
  • Maintain vendor and contact data across systems, manage documents, resolve enrollment-related issues, and participate in weekly team meetings.

Position Summary

We are currently looking to hire an entry-level Vendor Enrollment Specialist to work full-time, Monday through Friday, in a remote capacity. Reporting to the Enrollment Manger and working closely with a team of other Specialists, you will be the gatekeeper for prospective security guarding companies who either approach Protos asking to join our national network, or who have been solicited to join by one of our Development Managers. Through phone and electronic communication, you will execute daily activities which support the application, vetting, admission decision making, and enrollment processes for prospective members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review incoming applications to ensure that prospective vendor partners meet minimum requirements 
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain all needed insurance, licensing, tax, and contractual documentation 
  • Verify that documents received are authentic and meet requirements by contacting insurance brokers and state licensing authorities
  • Work with all parties involved to clarify or resolve any issues identified
  • Conduct admission-based analysis to prevent geographic oversaturation, ensure that new vendor enrollment meets predetermined needs, and that approved vendors present specific added value to the network
  • Make independent determinations on admission for prospective vendor partners who directly apply for membership
  • Coordinate with Development Managers to enroll prospective vendor partners they have solicited 
  • Identify and contact inactive network members in needed geographic areas to encourage and process re-enrollment 
  • Manage documents across data repositories, including hard and digital copies as necessary
  • Work with internal partners as needed to provide support and/or resolve enrollment-related issues
  • Maintain vendor and contact profile data; document all communications in company systems, spreadsheets, or reports 
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss business objectives, P&P adjustments, audit needs, areas of the country where additional vendors are needed, and provide feedback regarding internal IT-related process and workflow 
  • Be a team player, sharing best practices and lessons learned with other members of the Enrollment team to ensure a level of consistency across all vendor interactions 
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, representing Protos in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Perform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary to achieve assigned business objectives


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited college or university 
  • At least 2 years in an enrollment, compliance, onboarding, account management, or similar role is required 
  • Previous experience must have been vendor or client facing, interactive, and included relationship building

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficiency required; Excel knowledge preferred
  • Security industry experience helpful, but not required
